BIOGRAPHY : Over the course of a career that spans five decades, Steve Rushton has become one of the UK's busiest and most in-demand drummer, percussionist and multi instumentalist with an impressive list of credits to his name. A flamboyant and stylish performer, he is perhaps best known currently for his work with Imelda May, touring the world as a member of her band, featuring on her last three number one albums, and on the Grammy nominated Jeff Beck album and DVD, Rock 'n' Roll Party (Honouring Les Paul).

Steve is also a composer and song writer, having his music used by the BBC and Independent Networks, and band leader, whose Rare Orchid ensemble has recorded two albums for his own production company, Blue Iris, both featuring vocalist Louise Cookman.

Steve is currently a member of Hot Chocolate, European drummer for Ronnie Spector and drum educator and columist and this
featured in Elio Pace’s new sell out show playing the music of Elvis Presley.
