The Signal represents one of Code’s most hard-wearing heads to date. Its construction is a single 14 mils PET film ply, held in place with Code’s unique Grip-Tight ™ rim technology. The combination of the rim design and thicker single ply gives the heads a stunning mixture of depth, projection and attack. Ideal for both snare and tom batters with a kick drum version featuring an internal deadening ring to help calm any unwanted overtones. Carlsbro have added the brand new Októ A Digital Percussion Pad to their range of electronic drum kits and combo amps.

Anniversary Snares

The Ludwig Black Beauty is the industry’s most respected snare and for 110th Anniversary Ludwig have launched a model in it’s original form. Featuring 8 brass trimmed lugs and a brass single flanged hoop, this snare drum is a nod to the Black Beauty’s original form. Available in both 14x5” and 14x6.5” but again with limited production.

The Heirloom Black Brass Anniversary Snare, available in 14x5.5” and 14x7”, is a brushed black brass shell fitted with brass hardware. Production for these models is limited to 2019.

​

The Aged Exotic Avodire snare drums completes the line up of Anniversary snares. A 10 ply maple shell, with Chrome Die Cast hoops and tube lugs, finished in a high gloss lacquered Avodire veneer. Limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

New Snare Drum Ranges

The Jazz Fest is a retro inspired 14x5.5” snare drum complete with an iconic baseball bat internal muffler. Available in a range of 4 classic finishes, Black Galaxy, Vintage Black Oyster, Vintage Blue Oyster and Mod Orange.

Ludwig are excited to announce the release of a video reference library of their world renowned snare drums. This features their classic line-up of USA snare drums, which have been the industry standard for over 100 years. The videos give customers an overview of both their metal and wood snares, new and old. In the coming months this resource will be continuously updated to include all the greatest hits from Ludwig.

The videos were all shot in a studio in Hollywood USA and features Ludwig artist Jason Sutter (Marilyn Manson). All clips are recorded raw with no audio effects so you can clearly hear the unique characteristics of each drum at a variety of tunings.

In the early stages an infant’s hearing is very sensitive, and this could be an issue for parents who may have exposed their children to loud noises, without even realising it. Alpine released the world’s first CE approved Earmuff for the very young to combat this problem.
