BIOGRAPHY : Grant has been playing drums since the age of 10 when he was persuaded by his music teacher to try out drums after failing to pass the test for saxophone lessons! Throughout school he learnt his trade playing in musical productions, playing percussion in the orchestra and doing covers with his high school rock band.

After leaving Selkirk to study in Glasgow, Grant joined forces with his brother to form Frightened Rabbit. Playing guitar based pop/rock music the band have carved out quite a following around the world and regularly tour the US, Europe and Australia. Previously signed to FatCat Records the band are now with Atlantic Records. 

Grant has been playing Ludwig since 2014 but has always wanted to be a part of the Ludwig team. "Ever since hearing Led Zeppellin blasting from my brother's room I knew I wanted that sound and Ludwig are the only drums that make that sound".
