Guitarist Mark Potter from the UK alternative rock group Elbow plays the Godin Montreal, made specifically for him in Black High Gloss finish. Mark choosing the Montreal for its smooth tones and versatility. Elbow were recent winners of the coveted 2008 Mercury Prize for their latest release "The Seldom Seen Kid". The Mercury prize is awarded for the best album from the United Kingdom each year. The band also recently received the award for "Best British Group" at the Brit Awards in February 2009.
